The idea of nature within cities has long been limited to small, centralised green areas, isolated and surrounded by buildings. Rarely do we find a true dialogue between the natural and the human, without clear boundaries marking their separation

Yet, despite this fragmented conception—and the denaturalisation that urbanisation has brought—the constant remains: people value and need contact with nature. This bond endures and greatly benefits us. The logical path, then, is to seek balance and strengthen this connection

This is the vision behind Málaga Circular. It proposes a new urbanism that emerges from the search for reconnection with nature and the landscape. It calls for a return to ancient values, when the natural prevailed over the artificial, and promotes a more integrated, less invasive approach to urban design. Its aim is to create sustainable urban planning that respects topography, embraces the landscape, and reduces both environmental and visual impact
