Located in Parque das Nações, one of the most dynamic and modern areas of the Portuguese capital, Distrikt is a complex of four towers with 219 apartments. It was Morph’s first international project and marked the beginning of a journey that has taken us to work on four continents
The project’s design is deeply rooted in its location, featuring a floor plan rotated 45° to maximize the indoor-outdoor connection and ensure optimal orientations toward the Tagus estuary. This «magnetic» architecture seamlessly opens the interiors to the outside through fluid, aerodynamic terraces with organic shapes that become the main feature of the homes. Beyond their aesthetic appeal, these gentle curves are designed to channel wind and light, mimicking invisible lines of magnetic force across the facade.
A magnetic architecture aligns the buildings towards the mouth of the Tagus River to offer the best views and ensure good solar orientation.
