This innovative residential complex, named BECRUX, is situated on a corner plot in Madrid’s Retiro district. Mindful of this prime location, we sought to fully leverage the natural and urban context to deliver a project that not only meets the development’s planning and financial requirements but is also attractive and functional for residents, while serving as an integrative and distinctive addition to the community. Thus, our challenge as designers was to align the interests of the developer with those of the end-users, while simultaneously presenting the public with an aesthetically innovative façade.

Differentiation brings not only economic value to the project but also social value to the city

DIFFERENTIATION through the desire to break away from traditional architectural norms, which often favor linear and predictable geometries, thereby bringing a contemporary aesthetic to the urban landscape.

INNOVATION through contributions to the technical development of the construction processes that bring the design to life—seizing the opportunity to advance alongside the industry that enables the realization of our unique designs.

ART through the resulting creative process. The fusion of cutting-edge technology and hand-drawn design has not only been fundamental to realizing our vision but has also set a precedent for the value placed on drawing in the digital age.

Becrux not only offers a modern and functional living space but also represents a firm commitment to sustainability and environmental care
