La Rosaleda stands as an urban landmark with a tremendous impact on Málaga. Institutions with a sentimental dimension—such as football clubs, which transcend time and span generations—have a duty to care for and, if possible, improve their immediate surroundings, thereby leaving a valuable and enhanced legacy for the next generation.

The aim of this preliminary project is to seize the opportunity to undertake urban improvements that enhance the quality of life for the city and the stadium’s neighbors.

At Morph, we have proposed a stadium design that unfolds and extends outward—acting, in essence, like a clip—to unify various urban layers: road connections, open spaces, greenery, and activity-generating areas that keep pace with Málaga’s growth in every respect, thereby establishing a new urban center within the city.
